Social Diamond marked Mother's Day with Becoming Santa Maria, a jewellery collection built around the Santa Maria aquamarine and dedicated, in the brand's own words, to the woman who holds it all. Verywhere designed and managed the collection's presentation as an intimate luncheon inside a glass garden pavilion, translating its language of clarity and quiet strength into a single white room: one long table, six illuminated display pedestals, and calla lilies growing out of rough stone. The event was conceived as a place to sit with the pieces rather than a stage to present them.
The Santa Maria stone is prized for the depth and clarity of its blue, so the space was kept almost colourless to let that blue register. Everything reads as white, silver or glass: white table linen, pale upholstered chairs, pedestals finished in the collection's ice-blue tone, and rippled acrylic panels that scatter daylight the way a faceted stone does. The panel carrying the collection name was built as a plain pale board with raised lettering, so the message sits quietly beside the pedestals instead of competing with the acrylic behind the jewellery. The collection text describes motherhood as a quiet, powerful transformation, and the styling borrows that idea: raw plaster and stone fragments sit with slender calla lilies and a single rough blue stone, so each arrangement holds something unfinished and something refined at once. The garden outside the glass supplies the only saturated colour.
The room was modelled in 3D first so that pedestal spacing and sightlines from the table could be resolved before fabrication. The six pedestals were made to that drawing, each with a textured acrylic backdrop, its own spotlight and a wrap in the collection colour. On the day, the same language ran the length of the table as a sequence of stone and lily arrangements along a silver runner, with printed collection cards and place cards at each setting.
