To mark its first birthday, YogurBara collaborated with Butterbear, and the two characters needed a place to meet. Verywhere designed and managed the celebration in the Paragon atrium, Bangkok, turning the void into Bara's Room: a bedtime scene of starry curtains, a yellow moon and an oversized bed where a giant inflatable Bara sleeps. The idea was to make the brand's sleepy character the host of its own party, so every zone, from the order counter to the photo spots, reads as a piece of furniture in one room rather than a row of separate booths.
A mall atrium is seen from every floor, so the room is composed to be read as a plan from above. The navy carpet becomes a night sky scattered with stars, the yellow moon doubles as the stage, and in the 3D design the white seating cubes are arranged to spell the collaboration for anyone looking down from the balconies. Around the bed sit the pieces a bedroom would have: a gingham sofa, a curtained photo booth, a pinboard for friends' messages, each scaled up so visitors feel small inside the character's world. Butterbear enters the story in pajamas and a nightcap, treated as Bara's sleepover guest rather than a second logo, which keeps both brands inside one language of soft blues, cream and gingham.
The drawings were followed closely on site. The order counter went up with its starry curtains and illuminated lettering as drawn, the inflatable Bara was produced large enough to be read from every floor, and character cutouts, plush props and a special collection display carried the illustration style into three dimensions. On the day the mascots and the crowd completed the picture, with the moon serving as the stage for the birthday moment.
