In Trang, southern Thailand, the Chinese cafe and tea room Gong Sann traces its story back to 1939 and to a Thai-Hokkien recipe that travelled from Hokkien to Trang. One idea guided Verywhere's brand strategy and identity: heritage revived rather than preserved. The mark draws the facade of a historic Chinese house, its symmetry, shuttered windows and roofline reduced to a fine line, so the house becomes the brand's signature, drawn onto boxes and badges. Deep burgundy and aged gold set a tone of warmth and quiet prosperity.
The identity treats Chinese heritage as living material rather than a museum piece. Everything in the system is derived from architecture: the combination mark is the house itself, and the secondary shapes borrow the lobed, octagonal and quatrefoil windows of Chinese garden walls, which become frames for photography, monogram badges and a family of lattice patterns. A palette of burgundy, gold and vanilla keeps the brand in the register of a tea house rather than a fast cafe, with crimson as the brighter accent. Majesty Display and Than carry the same classical proportion across English and Thai, so posters, packaging and posts read as one voice. Imagery leans into low warm light, close tableware and the glow of a tea glass, so nostalgia is felt rather than announced.
Applications were chosen to feel like objects a guest actually touches. Three decisions carry the idea: gold foil on burgundy stock gives stationery the weight of an old family business, the monogram and window motifs are held at a discreet scale on tableware so the table stays calm, and the house illustration does the work on packaging, giving the boxes a character the wordmark alone could not. Social posts carry the typography and the warm imagery into daily communication.
